Hello, Melody! I'm so in love with my new American Girl BeForever doll, Melody Ellison. I haven't read her books yet, but I do know a bit about her and her story. She's from Detroit, from 1964, and she loves singing but gets nervous in front of an audience. I think she's absolutely beautiful and I'm so excited that she's here. We went to the Seattle American Girl store last week and I fell in love with her accessories and play sets. My brother and I want her microphone so bad! At the store we heard about the Lift Your Voice with Melody Ellison campaign to celebrate Melody’s arrival to the American Girl line. It’s fun and easy to participate, you just need to watch the Lift Your Voice with Melody video and then share your own inspiring videos and photos using #LiftYourVoice to share how you are speaking up to make a difference.
